The entire Palestinian village of
Susya received demolition orders from the Israeli Civil Administration last
week. Not only dwelling structures, but also animal pens, water
cisterns, and a solar-powered electricity system are
in imminent danger of being demolished (some for the fifth time) by Israeli
army forces. The rights of Susya’s Palestinian residents over the
land in which they reside has been legally demonstrated and acknowledged by the
Israeli authorities. On Friday, June 22 concerned people of Palestine and
Israel will stand side by side
with the residents of Susya in a protest and support vigil and will call: No to
the fifth demolition of Susya! No to the throwing of people from their homes
and tents! No to the silent transfer of the Palestinian population out of area
C! Lord in your mercy, hear our cries! Lord in your mercy…
We pray for the families of the 45 victims in
last Sunday’s suicide-bombings in three Northern Nigeria churches. Bombs exploded at the ECWA Goodnews Church in
the Wusasa area of Zaria city, the second explosion ten minutes later at the
Christ the King Catholic church in Zaria's Sabongari area and the third blast
hit the Shalom Church in Kaduna city. We
pray for Christian and Muslim leaders to confront this violence with
nonviolence and preach love of neighbor.

We pray for Sabeel Nazareth’s programs. The

the Australian based archaeological excavation team in Bethsaida and
Sea of Galilee, and on the 24th the
Sabeel young people will participate in a tour of Haifa and two depopulated
villages in the Nazareth area (Mujaydil and Sepphoris). May it be a revealing time for all who
attend. Lord in your mercy…
Challenging Oppression on a Donkey: Christ,
