30/7/2015 English

Lord, as we reflect before this summer break, we give you praise for all of our friends and partners around the world who support us in many varied capacities, including those who faithfully pray with us using this Wave of Prayer.  We give you thanks for their continuous commitment and solidarity in the work for justice and peace in Palestine and Israel. Lord in your mercy...

Lord, we lift our gratitude for the hard work of our dedicated staff and volunteers at our Jerusalem and Nazareth offices and for the wider local Sabeel community. Bless them as they move Sabeel forward in new programs, strategies and creative activism.  Lord in your mercy…

Lord, we give you thanks for our summer Cornerstone issue “Economy of Occupation,” which offers an untraditional reading of the Parable of the Bags of Gold and reminds us of Jesus’s call to challenge unjust systems.  Lord in your mercy…

We continue to pray alongside our partner, the World Council of Churches for the countries of the Caribbean: Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Cuba, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Saint Kitts Nevis, Saint Vincent & The Grenadines, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago.  Lord in your mercy…

*The Wave of Prayer will be on break for the month of August, and will resume in September.  Have a blessed, restful and safe summer.
