held again. Please dispel the tension created by the first election in October
and allow for stability and harmony to develop among the entire community.Lord

week and next. We trust that you know the motives of their hearts, and that
regardless of the outcome of this peace process, you will be faithful to the
people of Palestine and Israel in bringing about a just peace. Lord in your

This past
weekend, dozens of Israeli teenagers sent a letter to PM Netanyahu stating
their refusal to serve in the Israeli military because of the occupation and
abuses of the army. We praise you for this example of solidarity and
nonviolence, and ask that you give these men and women strength to endure on
the path of peaceful resistance. Lord in your mercy…
Gracious God, we
ask your blessing on Sabeel’s activities this week, both with the Nazareth
office and the Jerusalem office. Please grant the Women’s program safe travel to the Negev on Friday, and bless the students involved in
our school program on Thursday, our multiple film screenings this week, and our
many group visits.Lord in your mercy…
